Fall Fun!

I picked the boys up from a birthday party on Saturday and it was so pretty out. We decided to go to a corn maze and our favorite nature center! I know everyone loves pictures so I thought I would share!

Sillies!

They LOVED the possibility of getting lost.

Run!

At one point, I said "Hang on guys. I think we are  actually getting lost". Zeke exclaimed "COOL!"  Rocco, my problem solver, said "Wait! I have a compass!" I said "You do?" He replied, "Yep." and took out his cell phone that I let him take to the birthday party. Resourceful! Little did he know the icon for a compass was part of the Verizon navigation system. Lol! He was thoroughly disappointed he could not come to our rescue! So, we moved on and eventually found our way out on our own.

But first, this stinker wanted to pick and try the corn. What does a mother of two seven-year-old boys say but "Sure! Go ahead."

Yep, that's what I thought. Moving on.

They wanted to try their hand at taking pictures.

Each of them.

This is my favorite Fall tree. On the right day, with the right sun, it just glows!

At the nature center we found some very daring friends. It was the closest we had ever been to one deer much less three of them! Just magical.

Discover.

Stop to take advantage of the light.

Rocco got bit by the photographer bug and now won't let me have the camera back as he directs Zeke and I.

And me some more.

Still not quite tall enough (thank God!). Just a little more time, please?

Ok, there! Much better. Now they really look small again. Phew! Their childhood isn't quite done yet.

Which one is cuter? I can never tell!

It was the perfect Fall day! Hope y'all enjoyed!
